Area Rug Care And Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance of your area rug will prolong it's life!
Vacuum regularly, making sure that your vacuum's belt is in good condition and that the beater rotates on the carpet. Also, adjust the vacuum's height so that it is not too close to the rug, as this may cause the motor to slow. And of course, empty your vacuum bag regularly.
1. Be extremely careful cleaning near the rug's fringe. It is best not to use the beater bar in this area. Catching the fringe in the beater bar could cause separation of the fibers.
2. Clean spills and spots immediately.
3. Never rub a spill, always blot.
4. Periodic professional cleaning is recommended.
