Laminate Flooring Product Information
Laminate floors are a fused sandwich of cushioning layers and print layers protected by a tough resin. They have an impregnated counter-acting backing which ensures stability and acts as a natural moisture barrier. Staining solids and liquids, sun and minor burning, will not damage these hardy floors.
Common Laminate Types:
1.Glue-less Laminates With Pre-Attached Underlay: Laminates of this type use a variety of locking systems to prevent your planks from separation and have attached underlayment to dampen sound. The attachment of this layer makes it unnecessary to install underlayment's separately.
2.Glue-less Laminate Planks: Clean glue-less installation is made possible by these laminates that use mechanical locks that allow the pieces to snap together. It's this ease of installation the makes this type of laminate a great do-it-yourself product. Our sales staff can provide you the necessary installation guidance if you'd prefer to install it yourself, but we find most of our customers choose to utilize our professional installation staff.
3.Glue-less Laminate Stone and Tile Designs: These designs are offered in common tile sizes and will bring you the feel of ceramic tile to your space. Many designs are manufactured to be water resistant which allows this product to be used in bathrooms and kitchens.
4.Glued Laminates: The traditional glued laminate installs well and has all the durability of any glue-less laminate at an economical price
