Vinyl Flooring Care And Maintenance
Nonn's Design Showplace in Wisconsin--quick tips for keeping your vinyl flooring looking its best:
What to DO:
1. Wipe up spills quickly. Remove dried spills with vinyl floor cleaner on a clean white cloth.
2. Wash your vinyl floor with a no-rinse floor cleaner recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Use vinyl flooring polish to return your floor's original shine if it begins to dull over time.
4. Use vinyl flooring protectors on the feet of your furniture.
DON'T use:
1. Detergents, abrasive cleaners, or "mop and shine" products--they may leave a dull film on your vinyl floor.
2. A beater bar when vacuuming--it can visibly damage the floor's surface.
3. Highly abrasive scrubbing tools.
